Marketing Assistant – From £27,000 a year – Full-time

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant with a flair for developing innovative ideas to attract customers to our social media sites and assist in the creation of content on our products, global health initiatives and events. The role will work with our internal teams to deliver content, drive digital activity, deliver our new branding, and organise events.

Key deliverables:

  • Managing website and social media pages by posting updates, news items and case studies; responding to comments and messages.
  • Communicating with clients, customers, external agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Creating and delivering presentations.
  • Using website analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and understand the way users interact with the site.
  • Submitting ideas for marketing programmes designed to enhance and grow the company brand.
  • Writing and editing press releases.
  • Contribute to preparing meeting agendas and minutes of meetings.
  • Represent GADx at high-level meetings, conferences, and speaking engagements.
  • Assistant with organizing conferences, booth designs and company literature for conferences.
  • Represent Company at conferences/events/workshops.

Technical skills and competencies:

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Project), remoted working technologies, and applications such as Zoom.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in a multicultural environment and with our international partners.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to tailor communication style to meet audience needs and deliver information effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent English language skills. Proficiency in an additional language, such as French, would be an added advantage.

Requirements – personal characteristics:

  • Experience or interest in diagnostics and MedTech.
  • Experience and interest in global health is desirable.
  • Energy and enthusiasm.
  • Innovative marketing ideas.
