GADx has been awarded a Silver Sustainability Rating by EcoVadis, a trusted provider of sustainability ratings for businesses. Our score places us in the 74th percentile in this industry, scoring particularly highly on Labour & Human Rights and Ethics.
GADx is also committed to reducing the environmental impact of the tests we manufacture. We are collaborating on projects looking at biodegradable materials to be used in manufacturing including recyclable plastics for cassettes housing. To create environmentally sustainable devices from components that are more readily available close to regional manufacturing hubs and that are sustainable, such as plant-based materials.
Frequent testing is invaluable and so it is vital to find ways to drive down the cost of kits and increase production levels. As a social enterprise, GADx can transform this process because it ‘breaks the link’ of ‘having to make profit for shareholders’.
