What to Expect
Here’s a quick overview of how we record and produce the podcast, so you know exactly what to expect on the day:
- Format: A relaxed and informal conversation recorded online. We aim for a 25–30 minute edited episode.
- Recording: Hosted virtually using Riverside.FM, a professional tool that records high-quality audio and video locally on your device, meaning you'll look and sound great even if your internet briefly drops out.
- Audio + Video: The podcast is published in both audio and video formats. You can watch an example video episode here.
- Editing: Episodes are professionally edited by Lee Jackson (Trailblazer FM, Event Engine Podcast). We'll remove any mistakes, false starts, or awkward moments so you sound and look your best.
- Producer: Lee will accompany and support you during the recording session to make sure everything runs smoothly and you feel comfortable throughout.
- Review: If you'd like to review the final episode before it goes live, please let us know—we're happy to share the edit for your approval.
Topics and Questions
Each episode focuses on the guest’s journey, not on promoting any particular company. Sample themes include:
- Your early career and what led you to medtech
- Lessons from pivotal projects
- Your perspective on innovation in diagnostics
- Advice for emerging scientists and innovators
We’ll send you a list of tailored discussion points in advance so you feel fully prepared.
